1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using rightcampus.in (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and RightCampus ("we", "us", "our").

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Continued use after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years of age, OR using the Platform under parental/guardian supervision if younger
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law
• You are not prohibited by any law from using KCET-related services
• The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current

3. Service Description

RightCampus provides:

• KCET Rank Predictor: Estimates your KCET rank based on expected marks using KEA's official 50:50 weighting formula
• KCET College Predictor: Suggests Karnataka engineering colleges you may target based on your rank and category
• Free WhatsApp Counselling: Expert guidance on KCET, branch selection, and counselling rounds
• KCET Resources: Study materials, cutoff data, exam updates, and counselling tips

4. Prediction Accuracy & Disclaimer

While we strive for high accuracy (using real KCET 2025 cutoff data and the official 50:50 formula), we cannot guarantee:

• That your predicted rank will match your actual KCET 2026 rank
• That predicted colleges will give you admission
• That cutoff data remains identical year-over-year

Always verify with official KEA sources at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in before making admission decisions.

5. User Conduct & Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Misuse the Platform for spam, harassment, or illegal activity
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download our predictor data or cutoff database
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
• Use bots, automated scripts, or fake accounts
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialise our predictions without written permission
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Interfere with the Platform's functionality or servers
• Use the Platform to spam other users or send unsolicited communications

Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action.

6. Free Services

All current RightCampus services - predictors, WhatsApp counselling, KCET resources - are provided free of charge. We do not charge students for any prediction or basic counselling.

We may introduce premium services in the future (advanced 1-on-1 counselling, document review, etc.). Any paid services will be clearly marked, with separate terms communicated before purchase. Free services remain free.

7. WhatsApp Communications

By providing your WhatsApp number through our predictor forms, you consent to receive:

• Your personalised college prediction results
• KCET counselling guidance and tips
• Cutoff updates and exam notifications
• Free study resources and PDFs

You can opt out anytime by replying STOP on WhatsApp. We will not send promotional messages from third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on RightCampus - predictor algorithms, cutoff database, design, text, graphics, logos, and code - is the intellectual property of RightCampus and protected by Indian copyright and trademark laws.

You may NOT copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reproduce any part of the Platform without our prior written permission. Limited personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., partner colleges, KEA official site, payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RightCampus shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use
• Errors in predictions or college recommendations
• Loss of admission opportunities based on our predictions
• Service interruptions, technical failures, or data loss
• Actions or decisions by partner colleges or third parties
• Any damages exceeding ₹1,000 in aggregate

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RightCampus, its founders, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent/abusive behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms anytime. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via email/WhatsApp. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

15. Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation. Contact our Grievance Officer first at info.rightcampus@gmail.com. We commit to responding within 7 working days.

Unresolved disputes will be referred to arbitration in Bangalore under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RightCampus regarding use of the Platform. They supersede any prior agreements or communications.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
